http://www.skatersforpublicskateparks.org  Skaters For Public Skateparks is a nonprofit group of skatepark advocates from all regions of the U.S., Canada, and Europe. They've created a Web site that is a tremendous resource for anyone pursuing a public skatepark in their community. Entire sections are devoted to skatepark vision, advocacy, fundraising, design, and maintenance, and a forum section features discussion of other important topics.
http://www.skateparkguide.com  A for-profit company that sells a highly regarded book and cd about getting skateparks built; including such matters as organizing community support; planning a campaign and raising money. Also offers information concerning design; construction and other current issues.
http://www.spausa.org  A step-by-step guide to getting a skatepark built; this site features info on initial planning; builders; insurance; safety; costs and more. It's a non-profit organization designed to promote skateparks; so all the info is free.
http://www.skatepark.org  This ambitious site "serves as a resource for everyone involved in the process of getting a public skatepark built." It features status and contact info for more than 100 parks currently under construction worldwide; plus extensive lists of industry contacts; design resources; planning guides and sample documents.
